The AC Flora JV Boys Golf Team rambled over I-20, or maybe they took Route One through Pontiac and Elgin, two wonderful communities in South Carolina, often unrecognized as actual communities, but they are, and the Falcons were able to play actual golf at an actual course, in these actual communities, which is neat, but if you don’t stop there you will end up in Calais, Maine, where Two Notch Road ends, also known as United States Highway Number One, or then you will be in Canada, and you would miss the JV Falcons taking on the Camden High School Bulldog JV Golf Team in a Midweek Match at an Ancient and Happy Donald Ross Course.
Anyhoo, the Falcons won.
Burch Harrison was the medalist at 37, with Coleman Fergason’s 46, Blake Fisher’s 47, and Jack Hane’s 49 scoring for the win.
Cooper Darby and Fletcher Sterne were swinging the clubs for the Birds as well.
JV is 13-1 this season.
Golf is cool. Golf is a lifetime sport.
