Two Flora Falcons Varsity Pitchers Combine In Shutout Victory Against Crestwood
Flora Falcons Varsity defeated Crestwood 11-0 on Tuesday as Edwin Martin and Bryce Phillips combined to throw a 1-hit shutout.
Flora Falcons Varsity secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning. Flora Falcons Varsity’s big bats in the inning were led by singles by Jack Reynolds and Jacob Ridgell, a sac fly by Bryce Phillips, and an error on a ball put in play by Jake Bytnar.
Flora Falcons Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Phillips Daniels grounded out, scoring Leighton Long to get the Falcons on the board.
