Flora Over River Bluff in FOREST ACRES CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP

Flora Falcons Varsity defeated River Bluff 5-4 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at four with Flora Falcons Varsity batting in the top of the eighth when MAX CHILDRESS singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Flora Falcons Varsity earned the victory despite allowing River Bluff to score three runs in the fourth inning. River Bluff batters contributing to the big inning included HUNTER GARRIS, NOAH LEBRON, and CLEBURNE GRAY, all driving in runs in the inning.
River Bluff got things moving in the first inning. JORDAN HALLIDAY drove in one when he singled.
In the top of the fifth inning, Flora Falcons Varsity tied things up at four when LEIGHTON LONG singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
