Multiple Teams · Fall Sports – Practice and Tryout Info


The AC Flora Athletic Department is looking forward to returning to athletic practices and conditioning in the coming weeks. ALL athletes are required to complete an online registration packet to include a pre-participation physical before they can report to any practice or conditioning session. Instructions and appropriate forms can be found here.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, all practices and conditioning sessions are required to adhere to additional state and local guidelines and are subject to change at any time. The general start-up information for each fall sport is listed below. However, each athlete will need to receive specific reporting information from their head coach. Contact information for each is included in their respective section.

All sessions on campus will report to the Main Gym entrance for check-in and athletes must bring their own water bottle and facemask.

Please be mindful that the dates listed below are based on current information and guidelines. These dates may be changed as new or updated guidelines are published.

 

Competitive Cheer: Conditioning and try-out preparation will begin Monday, August 3rd with two sessions at 5:00pm and 6:30pm. Official practice and tryouts will begin on Monday, August 17th with a 5:00pm or later start time.  Head Coach Lyndsey West

Cross Country: Conditioning will begin Monday, August 3rd at 8:30am and full practice will begin Monday, August 17th time TBD. Head Coach Tom Sunday

Football: Conditioning will begin Monday, August 3rd at 8:00am.  Full practice will begin Monday, August 17th time TBD. Head Coach Dustin Curtis

Girls Golf: Practice will begin Tuesday, August 18th at 4:00pm at The Spur at Northwoods. Head Coach Robert Dargan

Girls Tennis: Varsity practice/tryouts will begin Monday, August 17th at 8:00am at the ACF tennis courts.  Sub-varsity (JV and B) will begin Monday, August 24th at 8:00am.  Head Coach Amy Martin

Swim: Practice will begin Monday, August 17th at 8:00am at Rockbridge Swim Club. Head Coach Kim Gould

Volleyball: Conditioning will begin Monday, August 3rd with two sessions at 5:30pm and 7:00pm. Official practice will begin Monday, August 17th at 5:30pm.  Head Coach Erin Groves
