With the uncertainty surrounding the spring sports schedule and the likelihood of not being able to host senior nights, we’d like to take the time to honor all our Seniors participating in spring sports. We’ll feature a different sport each week.
Phillip Koutrakos is the son of Jim and Christine.
He has played lacrosse for 5 years, wears jersey #31 and plays the position of Goalie.
Phillip’s accomplishments during high school include:
Being a member of the Varsity Football team and named to the 2019 2nd Team All Upper State Goalie. He is a member of the National Honor Society, an Academic All-Star and an Eagle Scout. Phillip serves his church and is active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes where this year he is serving as a leader.
Phillip’s favorite lacrosse memory: is that come from behind win over Greenville in 2019 that made Flora 10-0!
After graduation, Phillip plans to attend college in the fall.
Caleb Lanier is the son of Ashley Thompson.
He has played lacrosse for 4 years, wears jersey #33 and plays the position of Midfield.
Caleb’s accomplishments during high school include:
Being named Best All Around Male by the senior class. He serves as the Senior Class Treasurer, is a member of the National Honor Society, a Palmetto Boys State delegate and is in the IB program.
Caleb’s favorite lacrosse memory: is when he did 3 spin moves in a row against Hammond and from then on was known as “Spin Cycle”.
After graduation, Caleb will attend the University of South Carolina with plans to become a pharmacist.
