Multiple Teams · It’s Official – Dustin Curtis Comes Back to the Nest


AC Flora is proud announce the hiring of Dustin Curtis as the new Head Football Coach for the Falcons. Coach Curtis comes back to Flora after serving as the Head Coach at Westwood High School for the past three years. Coach Curtis achieved a record of 13-11 over his final two years at Westwood, defeated two #1 seeds in the playoffs, and earned Region 3 AAAA Coach of the Year honors in 2017. During Coach Curtis’ seven years as an assistant coach at Flora, our teams won four Region Championships and reached the State Semifinals twice. As offensive coordinator, the Falcons averaged 42 points per game during the playoffs. Coach Curtis will be teaching physical education at Flora next year. He is a graduate of Lexington High School and the University of South Carolina  Coach Curtis, his wife Jessica, and son Grant live in the Forest Acres community and are very excited to rejoin the Flora Community of Champions.

We will hold a Parent Meeting on Wednesday May 22nd at 6:00PM in the AC Flora Theater.  A reception and gathering with Coach Curtis, his family and coaching staff will be held immediately following in the theater lobby.
