Multiple Teams · Baseball Alumni Weekend – Golf, Social, and Alumni Game

AC Flora Baseball will host its First Annual Alumni Weekend February 1-2, 2019. We are looking to bring more “Falcons back home” for this event and have included more than just playing in the actual alumni game. The event will kick off with a captain’s choice golf tournament on Friday morning and end with an adult social for all alumni, friends and supporters of the program at Liberty Tap Room that evening. The golf tournament and the social are open to any supporter of the program; the more support we can generate, the more our program benefits. We will finish up the two-day event on Saturday at noon with the alumni game. All money raised will go directly to the baseball program for essential equipment and to build our new visitor bullpen area.

The golf tournament will be held at The Spur, teeing off at 10:00 a.m. Registration and the range open at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $300.00 per team, but individual golfers may register for $75 each. Raffle items will be on display before and after turning in your scorecard under the pro shop, and winners and all prizes will be given out at the end of the round at the course. The maximum number of teams is 28.

The social will start at 8:00 p.m. at the Liberty Tap Room in the reserved back room. The cost is $30 per adult or $20 per adult for those playing golf (21 & over only). Liberty Tap Room will have a full cash bar available, and the baseball program will provide appetizers for all. The Liberty Tap Room full menu is available in the back room if you are interested in starting the night with dinner before the social.

The alumni game will start Saturday at noon and will once again place all the alumni vs. the current roster. HOWEVER, if we are able to get enough interest, we would like to have an actual game with odd vs even year players. The canteen will be open and Falcon gear can be purchased during the game.
