The AC Flora Athletic Booster Club will host its annual Homecoming BBQ Fundraiser on Friday, October 20th before our Falcons take on Lower Richland. BBQ will be served from 5pm-7pm in the parking lot of Memorial Stadium. The BBQ plates will consist of BBQ, hash, rice, sweet potatoes, slaw, bread and tea. We invite you to bring your chairs and tailgate with the Falcon Nation. Take-out plates will be available for those unable to stay for the game.
Tickets are $10 each and are being sold by all fall athletes (cheer, cross country, football, girls golf, swim, girls tennis & volleyball). If you’re unable to purchase a ticket from an athlete, please contact Stacy Wise (803.318.0113) or Alyan Brown (803.730.6880). Checks should be made payable to the AC Flora Athletic Booster Club. Tents will be set up for serving and to-go bags ready if the weather is not suitable for tailgating. If you don’t have a ticket, walk-up plates will be available for $10 each on a first come, first serve basis.
Each fall athlete will be responsible for selling at least five BBQ tickets. Tickets have been distributed to every fall athlete by the team parent. All money and unsold tickets should be returned to the team parent or to the front office of AC Flora in the envelope provided. The deadline for money or unsold tickets is Friday, October 13th. Please return money on time so they can give an accurate plate count to the BBQ caterer.
The AC Flora Athletic Booster Club also hosts Super Saturday in the Spring which includes BBQ plates as well as spring sporting events on campus. The tentative date for this school year’s Super Saturday is March 24, 2018.
